The first movie directed by Olivier Assayas. I have a copy of it that lacks subtitles. Seems to be a rare flick as well, unless you live in France, possibly. But despite some interest in the filmmaker's work, I need to see this movie because of its subject - the disintegration of a post-punk band, when somebody in the group commits murder.
A young director tackling a rock-themed movie that, supposedly from the little I've found about the movie, seems to avoid most cliches of the artist-in-decline movie. So has anyone seen it? I haven't been able to find subs anywhere. Oh well.
