I just read an interesting book*and on the jacket, the first blurb said Chuck Thompson would "remind you of Hunter S."**
Now, I've seen this on more books than you'd think, and while reading the book, I realized EVERY TIME I see it, the writer is usually a smart-ass cynic who tends to REALLY hammer those he's criticizing. But I don't think I've run across a writer yet who really captures the "Gonzo" style of HST.
Most of the guys who get compared to HST seem to write more like PJ O'Rourke.
