Best downloadable games?

This will apply to PC as well but there's no point in it becoming a Steam thread since it already exists.

So how about the consoles?
Wiiware/VC
LIVE Arcade
PS3

What is worth buying?
Some are cross-platform but still...

The obvious:
Wii: The Konami ReBirth series, World of Goo, Mega Man series, Super Mario series
LIVE: Castle Crashers, Perfect Dark(if you loved the original), 'Splosion Man, Shadow Complex, Peggle, Braid
PSN: Pain(I know many fans but I don't have the system)

What else? Include prices and if it's gonna fill your HDD.

I would add Trials HD to the Live list. I haven't played a ton of PSN games, but I absolutely love Pixel Junk Monsters. In fact, probably all of the Pixel Junk games are worth picking up.

Wipeout HD/Fury is mandatory for anyone on PSN. Yes, it can be unforgiving when you get into the time trials and such, but the zone and battle modes contain rich, full-bodied rewards.

Great PSN titles would be Bionic Commando: Rearmed (though it's also on XBLA), Lumines Supernova, Fat Princess, Critter Crunch, Everyday Shooter, Flower, Super Stardust HD, Wipeout HD and Echochrome.

Pixeljunk Shooter

Poker Smash on Live is a great puzzle game.

Rez HD. Unless you're epileptic and/or hate things that are awesome.

Shadow Complex is overrated and Braid is a pretentious game, which is extremely rare. The puzzles are challenging, but seriously, fuck that game.

I admire World of Goo for it's physics and premise, but I couldn't get into it.

Christ, aren't I fucking downer.

I only played the demo, but I wasn't too big on what I saw of Braid either, but I know people love the hell out of it.

Are there any gems in the LIVE arcade indie section? I downloaded a few demos and wasn't overly impressed with anything, although generally the price was right, and the music game seemed kind of interesting(and seizure-inducing).

I quite dug the demo for Toy Soldiers on LIVE. Not as much as I thought I would, but still it was fun.

I've downloaded a trial here and there, and haven't come across much I would ever consider spending money on. Now, there's so much content out there, it's too much to sift through. But occaionally I'll scan what they list as "most downloaded" or "highest rated" to see if anything looks decent. I have purchased one Indie game, called Carneyvale Showtime, so that's one title I can recommend demo-ing.

How is Trials HD? I grabbed the demo and it's a hoot, but is there a lot of content in the full game? 15 bucks seems like a bit much.

Twin Blades, Carnivale Showtime and Weapon of Choice are fun ways to waste soem leftover points if you ask me.

'Splosion Man is the best Sonic the Hedgehog game since Sonic 3, only it doesn't star Sonic.

The ending credits alone make want to marry that game.

Cave Story for PC. I'm glad that it is doing well on Wiiware, but it's been free on PC for ages.

Is it doing well? I thought about picking it up on Wii (I'd rather play on a Wiimote than keyboard/shitty Logitech controller), but 1200 points?

If you're interested in the new Mega Man games, I'd suggest getting 10 first. There's an easy mode for pussies like me and you get a non-DLC Protoman.

Flower's a good game, just don't listen to the gaming journo's ridiculous hype (gotta legitimize their profession somehow!). If anything, it's an extremely accessible tech demo.

I think I read that it is the #1 Wiiware title.

EDIT: Here it is

I've got Flower, Pixeljunk Eden and Pixeljunk Shooter. All three have been worthwhile.

I've also got Braid but I find it more annoying and frustrating than enjoyable.

Note: If there's ever a Pixeljunk RPG, I'm gonna eat that shit right up.

Braid *is* pretentious, but even taking aside its obvious desire to be profound and emotional and artistically valid it's still a fun, gorgeous looking and sounding game with some ingenious puzzles.

If you like point and click adventure games at all Machinarium looks and sounds lush. As usual there are a couple of puzzles that are just obnoxiously obtuse, but a lot of them are based around old fashioned brainteasers and logic games, so if you enjoy those kind of things it's a must play.

Cave Story is one of the best 2D platform shooters I've ever played and it's free free free so everyone should grab it: http://www.miraigamer.net/cavestory/

I'm going to have 400 points to blow after I get Scott Pilgrim and Dead Rising: Case Zero, what would you say is the best $5 game on XBLA?
No indie games, I refuse to buy something I can't play when offline(dick move, MS).
