HIGH FIDELITY at the Plaza tonight. They're gonna set up a mini record store in the lobby! Hopefully someone dresses up as Tim Robbins and gets attacked in the FACE.

Tonight, there's the Rock & Roll Monster Bash at the drive-in. They're showing KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS (Shatner), and GRIZZLY (starring a giant bear).

BEST WORST MOVIE does start at the Plaza today, Eggworth, if you want a chance to see that. No guarantee of cast participation, though.

The 5th annual Buried Alive Film Festival is November 12th and 13th. The festival showcases the best in independent horror films from around the world. One of this year's highlights will be Dir. Frank Hennenlotter's southeastern premiere of his unreleased documentary "Herschell Gordon Lewis: The Godfather of Gore", presented by Something Weird Video. As well as the Southeastern premiere of Robogeisha as well!!!

Salman Rushdie is back to introduce another brace of films based on great works of fiction.  Monday nights, 7:30, FREE!

Anyone have any recommendations among these four films?  LOLITA's the only one I'm familiar with.

Holy cow, I'm catching up with this thread and noticed "Pather Panchali" on the list.  A co-worker a few years ago was dying to have me watch that movie, but I never saw it.  He even brought me a DVD of it and I ended up returning it to him unwatched.
