Same thing is being proposed (or already law) in Venezuela. They also want to make it illegal for a movie theater to prohibit you from bringing outside food.

Im surprised there's even food isnide the theater in venezuel, given what i'v heard first hand from friends who hav left that country.

Can you imagine that realization, after your limbs were blown off in a suicide bombing and pieces of popcorn are mixing with your blood, mid air, nearly in slow motion, to think that not only you died watching something like Alice in Wonderland, but you paid that much for your popcorn?
