Canceled. Who'd have thought a remake of Malcolm in the Middle without the parents wouldn't work out?
To be fair Tyler Labine, the funniest thing on Reaper after Ray Wise, was in this and was pretty funny, but really...Malcolm's first older brother is the Exec Producer and the three kids on the show are basically carbon copies of the three kids on Malcolm. Had it not been canceled by FOX after 4 episodes (good move. We need more Seth Macfarlane) they'd probably have had an estranged older brother show up.
Really, I don't know why Malcolm in the Middle ran for as long as it did, but I gotta think Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek must have been a big part of it.
