Honestly this is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Essential truth delivered so wrongly.
I dislike those kinds of screaming-rock. I have friends who listen to it and it gives me a headache. I prefer rhythm and melody to guitar feed back and torn vocal cords

PS Devin, magnets may be cool (in fact they are *very* cool) but their power to attract and repel each other is far from miraculous.
You have my utmost respect for getting through the whole video, Devin. I couldn't get past the line about "stars at night."

Fucking horrible, indeed.
Im prettu sure that if nuclear holocaust breaks out and the world becomes a wasteland, a gang of raiders looking/acting like the ICP will roam the roads.

This thread is for people who watch the video! Please watch the video!

Yeah, I made it maybe a minute into that video. I had a juggalo kid in a bunch of my classes when I was finishing up my undergraduate degree, and he stunk to high heaven. He lived up to nearly every stereotype associated with this moronic subculture, only he wasn't fat and he had all his teeth. Man, this shit is awful.

Also, I cannot wait to see the talkbacks for this article. Should be glorious.

Sorry, Devin...I tried, I really did. There's just no way I can endure that beyond what I did.

I made it through half..im going to take a break and resume it later.
Man, it's like a Tim & Eric clip, sans irony. Amazing.
Ok, fully saw it..and I regret it.
The butterfly...dear god, the butterfly.

God damn it...now I GOTTA watch the whole thing. *sigh* Off I go.

"Fuckin' shootin' stars."

Truly, we are blessed. Too bad all those scientists have to be out there, gettin' us all pissed.

ETA: HOLY SHIT. I just hit the beat box bit. Amazing.
"I fed a fish to a pelican at Frisco bay / It tried to eat my cell phone, he ran away"

That video made my day.
Don't forget about the crows and ghosts. Can't forget about them.
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen. Thank you. Thank you so much.
I watched the whole thing. My reaction was a weird blend of laughing at and laughing with, but the video without question made my day. Wisdom from the mouths of Faulknerian manchildren. There's magic all up in this bitch!

What I love is that every great spiritual teacher will tell you not to overthink things, to look at the simplicity, to engage the world with the wonder of children.

These two morons are finding the wisdom of the ancients through their stupidity. Glorious!
I can now say I've watched an entire ICP video. Devin can now claim responsibility for this miracle.

I love how these guys are probably trying to get across the miraculousness of the everyday, but it just comes across like they're confused by everything. "My kid looks like me? Jesus, what are the odds???"
OK, just got to the line Devin pulled out for the story, and I had to stop for second. Here's the whole wonderful stanza, in context:

Quote:
Water, fire, air, and dirt
Fuckin magnets, how do they work?
And I don't wanna talk to no scientist,
Y'all motherfuckers lyin and gettin me pissed
Done laughing, gonna go gnash my teeth for a while.
I am going to spread this video like genital warts at a gathering of the Juggalos.
Fuckin' magic UP IN THIS BITCHHHHHHH
How can anyone struggle to get through this? It's the funniest, most awesome thing I've seen all week.

Favorite lines:

"Fucking rainbows"
"Fucking magnets, how do they work?"
"Magic all up in this bitch"
The part about the pelican

But really the whole thing is hilarious in concept alone, let alone the lyrics and the video. Juggalos may be a scourge but the ICP has delivered at least one glorious gift into the world now. I'm so glad it's all over twitter and facebook right now, it needs to be seen. On that note, great choice for a Watch This Now.

The ultimate metairony is that the song is about miracles in the natural world and the whole thing is CG on a green screen.
ICP is accepting the mystery!
Do you think these guys are at all self-aware? I mean, do you think they get the joke, on any level?

They don't wanna talk to any of those lying scientist motherfuckers... unless they know how to use Final Cut. BUT DON'T EXPLAIN HOW IT WORKS.
I'd just read it before watching and everything, but the "fucking magnets" line still totally caught me off guard. I'm talking full on belly laughs. It's so damn sincere. He's seems genuinely confused and a little pissed off that he doesn't understand. But don't try and explain it to him! That just gets him more pissed!

Now I'm laughing at it all over again.
All I could think of while watching this was that the very fact these guys exist negates every one of those miracles.
New favorite moment is in the first, uh, breakdown? On the power of music:

"Music is all magic. You can't even HOLD it!"

Which is great, but then comes the profound followup, "It's just there in the air."

And then the fat clown, in close up, looks off to the side and up, with this little smile to himself at this amazing insight -- and softly nodding!

It's such a David Cross moment.

Second favorite is the fat clown's arm gestures for each of "water, fire, air, and dirt," dirt being in the air.
Holy shit I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Fuckin magnets.
God. The little dance he does at the end. I don't know why, but it finally broke me. Haven't stopped laughing sense.
I love their crazy giant tower/astronomy observatory/spaceship. What the fuck is happening?

Also this video might bring us one step closer to this becoming a reality
post #31 of 213
I love how amazing he thinks it is that a pelican tried to eat his cellphone.
Thank you, Insane Clown Posse. Thank you for pointing out the simple, beautiful things I take for granted every day, like fuckin' rainbows, fuckin' magnets (how DO they work?), and music, because "you can't even hold it, it's just there in the air". You have truly blown my motherfuckin' mind. And now I will be looking for magic everywhere in this bitch. Every day. For the rest of my life.
I mean my knowledge of ICP is limited to tattoos and t-shirts dudes used to wear in high school (over their JNKOs you know) but weren't there more clowns?

I wonder if the original ICP fans all hate them now. I hope so, because then there will be an entire subset of white trash dudes with lime burn scars where their ICP tattoos used to be.

Anybody ever read House of Leaves? You know that bit in the end where Navidson finally decides to take a journey into the labyrinth, ends up in total, smothering, all encompassing terrible darkness wandering around for a month until he gets to the point where the laws of physics cease to apply, he nearly dies starving, frostbitten, muttering insanities, and nearly catatonic floating in the great eternal nothing for a few days until his wife forces him to come back to physical reality through the sheer force of her will, her love, and her need for him to exist?

Four minutes of THAT. That's this video.

Am I stronger for this? What have I gained? Just....what?

It's not that bad. People who can't get through this baffle me. It's amazing.
I . . . I . . . I have no words. I watched it 5 minutes ago, and I can't stop laughing. Every time I try the fits of laughter start up again stronger. This video itself is a miracle.

And that shot of one of the clowns between the woman's legs talking about birth????? PRICELESS.
Wow. Not only is it bad music and sub-culture, they are co-opting the worst aspects of creationism and peppering it with motherfucker. I think we've reached an apex here.

Hvaing read HOL, I couldnt agree more with this.
Watched it again. Can't stop laughing.

The only other things that have ever converged to become this perfect killed George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg.
The video was pretty damn funny.

For more hilarious ICP lunacy, check out this video commercial for ICP's "The Gathering" music festival (similar to Bonaroo with all ICP-inspired acts):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNe11E_KiAk

SNL spoofed the commercial:

They are abysmal at rapping.
"Fucking rainbows."

And I love how the video ends not only with the ICP leaving this wonderful miraculous planet in their spaceship, but that same planet plunging into the sun.

Also, the shot of one of the guys dancing between his wife's stirruped, spread, about-to-give-birth legs. Nice.
I like the idea that the Pyramids were only something I believed in as a kid. Then I grewed up!
Music is magic, pure and clean, you can feel it and hear it, but it can't be seen!
That video was "pure mothafuckin magic".
There's a lot about Insane Clown Posse I have respect for. For every 9 awful songs about chopping dude's heads off with hatchets they have an awful song about something truly bizarre and original, like one of them constantly growing until they're 100 miles tall. The easy reaction is to look at them, their music, and their fans and say "this is unbearable shit". But that's ignoring the fact that it's incredibly fascinating unbearable shit.
Wait... So what I just watched was real? Dear god. Hahahahha
post #48 of 213
They took the nice thought of enjoy the little things and then beat and raped it into submission.
"Fucking Rainbows" indeed.

Jeremy Davies is listening to ICP's "Riddle Box" when George Clooney first meets him in Solaris. No joke.

That shot of Shaggy 2 Dope coming out of that chick's thighs slayed me. So fucking weird.
