We are pretty much stuck, but in the end, I can laugh this off.

It's not like the Church plays a giant, medium or really small role in my life and this baptism is more about appeasement and "just in case" spiritual protection for my daughter. But it was an odd hour.

Probably gay or something similarly reprehensible to the orthodoxy. The catholic idea of introspection is almost custom built to lead to self-loathing. Self-loathing leads to acrimony. Acrimony leads to sufferrringgggg.

What's funny is one of the guys I went with one year, my best friend at the time, later went to Fort Benning for paratrooper school.
