Great thread idea, I'm a sucker for this stuff.

Here's Duffy meets the Police.

And this has no business working this well: Fergie meets Queen.

This is probably my favorite Remix of all time. Boss approved:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAcLVcfcPrA

He did a bunch of these at one point. He basically would throw all this stuff onto a mix, then take it back off, but keep the early versions around for club remixes. I really wish he'd do an album of them.

Biggie Smalls(Party and Bullshit) Hannah Montana (party in the usa) Remix by Hathbanger

Sweet Dreams are Made of Seven Nation Army

50 Cent & Queen - If I Cant Be A Champion

Supercent

Dan's Metal Mash-Up: Shaggy vs Rage Against The Machine

Louis Armstrong vs Radiohead - What A Wonderful Surprise

And this falls more under the catagory of "Sound Collage", but I still dig:

Negativland - Gimme The Mermaid mostly because it's a really cheeky statement on copyright laws and fair use policies, which for any mash-up artist, are silly annoyances.

I do like Devin Townsends remix of Rammstein's "Rammlied". I'm a sucker for banjo and tuba combos.

Also, anyone who likes remixes will likely find this documentary about the history of the "Amen Break" drumloop to be very fascinating.

I didn't want to link to any of my shit, but me and Carly's band (Surprise Big Yawn) has a pretty cool live mash-up of The Velvet Underground's "After Hours" and Randy Newman's "You Got A Friend In Me" on our Myspace. It's second song on the playlist, entitled "Toy Story". </shill>

Other cool live mash-ups:
Radiohead and Cat Stevens Mashup - Karma Police/Wild World
Jigga What/Faint(Live) - Linkin Park & Jay-Z
Smash Up Derby "Talking Heads vs Franz Ferdinand"

Mash-ups by ToTom:
I've Told Every Little Pumpkin (mashed by ToToM
Smells like 2 songs - Mushup ToToM
ToToM - Every Kind of Creep
ToTom - Blowin' in my mind (Bob Dylan/The Pixies-MashUp)
~SUBTERRANEAN TIME WARP BLUES~ by ToTom

ToTom is probably my favorite mash-up artist. He tends to go above and beyond the typical "make a hip-hop beat using this riff" formula many DJ's stick to.

I really, really, want this as a ringtone.

Smurfs Techno remix

That techno rave in the middle is awesome.

Also, this remix of Muscles 'Sweaty' is really damn cool, even better than the original song,
