Kick Ass to become the new big daddy

Last night I went to see Kick Ass and after I got home I decided to research some of the actors in the movie because I enjoyed the performances. While surfing around, I came across this picture:

http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3819474176/nm0939993

My first thought was "oh, that's nice that he brought his mom to the premier." Nope. That's his baby mama. The woman is 43-year old Sam Taylor Wood, director of Nowhere Boy which stars Aaron Johnson as John Lennon. She is also his future wife and mother of his unborn child.

I read somewhere that Johnson was 17 when they first met (he is now 19). Maybe this is much ado about nothing and maybe if the roles were reversed we would be saying how much of a stud this guy is for nailing a teenager, but something struck me as odd about it. Doesn't seem like a great career move at the very least.

Not to worry, she'll probably leave him for Cameron Bright (of X3 and Ultraviolet) or David Dorfman (the Ring).

Maybe they're in love with each other.

No, that'll never work.

Those photos of Christopher Mintz-Plasse on the right are fantastic. Guy just can't ever look cool.

Those pictures of Christopher Mintz-Plasse remind me of Dustin Hoffman for some reason.

Mintz-Plasse for an update of The Graduate!

The photo of Eli Roth with Chloe starts-with-an-"M" is a tad unsettling.

Ummmm... why?

Mintz-Plasse with the Chloe Moritz looks like the nerd that got forced to take his little cousin to a high school dance because he couldn't find a date.

Best thing about the gallery is the one random shot of Xander Berkley. I like to think that he dived in front of Cage at the last minute to make sure his photo got taken.

Without looking, I'm just going to assume by now that someone has posted a picture of Clark Duke in the "Dudes who look like lesbians" thread.

It's funny that this is a big deal, but Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart are still one of the most beloved couples ever.

Mintz-Plasse comes across looking like a young Stephen Colbert to me in those photos.

You know the main thing I got from the photo? Aaron Johnston may be able to do good geeky, but he's actually a fucking handsome young fella. Combine that with his obvious chops and I think we have the makings of the next big leading man personally.

Didn't Hugh Jackman marry his older manager? And hasn't Jackman's wife often been considered a beard for Jackman's procivities for musical theater?

Agreed.

Also, his girlfriend is 17 years younger than him and his favorite movie is the original The Wicker Man. I think we may be on to something.

No, his wife was an actress he met on the shortlived (If it ever lived at all...) ABC show "Correlli". She is indeed 13 years his senior though. As for the whole beard thing, I always assumed that was largely a petty fanboy insult stemming from the sense of betrayal they felt seeing Wolverine tapdancing at the Tonys.

I'm not sure if fanboys started that one, even if they did, there are things about Jackman that one can read as being signifiers. I wouldn't be surprised if he was.
