Fuck the pricks in the comments, I like the app reviews and I'm glad there's more Nunz on the front page.

Have you messed with ProChords?

Why in the sweet christ don't they make some of these apps available to people without iPhones?! I bought a fucking Mac Pro, just let me download a few apps, Steve!

Nick, thanks to your thoughtful review I've been inspired to try this APP for myself. I am sure I will have loads of fun (and if I don't I am going to be emailing you about a refund*). I assume it would be ok to post photos I make on this thread?

*kidding!

Arg I made a cartoon of one of my frog photos but forgot to save it with color. Aggravation!

Ok I am having a blast with this! Soon far I've turned two frogs into cartoons and I did a photo of myself from the AVATAR YOURSELF na'vi-me generator and managed to make it look even more ridiculous

But... I can't seem to be able to figure out how to email photos from my iPod.. any ideas??

Here are some images I made!

This first one I've titled "MAN MINUS DIGNITY"

This is a cool image I made from one of my Ultimate Frog Party photos. It's currently the home screen for my iPod

This is my favorite sky scraper

Ok, Nick...

I have a big criticism of this product that I think deserves attention. I've noticed that sometimes even if something looks perfect in the program itself (no unfilled in areas, coloring within the lines, ETC) when you save it as a "paint plus magi-sketch" often times the image that is saved is full of errors, patches of uncolored sketch, colors not being aligned right... it's very disappointing because I spent alot of effort last night on some paintings that came out flawed after saving.

I'm setting up an online bucket of photos and will upload that image later so you guys can see what I'm talking about

Kate you do know Nick didn't write the app don't you. I'd address problems with it to the makers.

Right I am not blaming him, just offering a heads up to potential app shoppers. For the record, I still like it alot, I am just vexed by this issue

Hey, I just wanted to let people know that just a few minutes ago I uploaded some art works that I made over the past few days to a photo bucket I registered for just this afternoon.

I'd love to get feed back on what you guys think about what I've done with Ultimate Toon FX (or whatever it is called)

The link to my bucket:

I await your reactions with bated breath

Nick,

Just wanted to let you know I'm still using TOONFX to create works of blinding brilliance sure to take the art world by storm.

Check out this CYF face art I just made earlier today (I also used two other photo editing programs to perfect it, but the bulk of the work took place in TOONFX)

Now, I don't have the money to buy a bunch of apps and try them all out, so I always feel kind of lost when I search through the APP STORE. I never know what is or is not worth the expenditure(and frankly I don't trust the customer reviews.. just got burned on an APP last month that turned out to be less cool than promised). With that in mind, your suggestion of TOONFX was most helpful. I've gotten alot of value out of it, and as the street date for the sure to be slick CHUD APP fast approaches, I just wanted to say that if there are any other APPS you're fond of, I'd appreciate a heads up! So far you're 1/1 when it comes to APP purchase suggestions
