So far it's pretty good and actually pretty funny. Only a 35 min in (20 of which was the Riddler fucking Bruce Wayne's chick. It went on FOREVER.)

I wouldn't say Stone is bad as the Riddler. But he's actually TOO over the top. But so far he is the weakest.

I will say Dale Dabone does a pretty good Adam West. He even stays in character during fuck scenes, which is hysterical.

Wait - Batman was just poisoned while dancing in a go-go bar and now he's at the mercy of horny/sloppy-BJ chick!

Also a point of unintentional hilarity is seeing these people in sloppy "I'm about to fuck you/Get fucked by you" mode with all there "inward SSSS-ing" clumsily worming out of these costumes and stretchy spandex costumes around their ankles.

Good, I'm not the only one who thought that the Riddler scene went on for an eternity. But yeah, Dabone nails his role. (I'm sorry).

Well I thought the whole thing was pretty hilarious. Plus, the DVD offers a version with the sex all taken out if you're not into the porno (not sure why you'd want that, but there ya go! heh).

The only thing that bothered me ... the Joker should be white all over!

They're doing Superman next, then doing the Asylum thing by going day and date with the mainstream counterparts.

Regarding Phil's news of Vivid Superhero: I imagine all the various studios and copyright holders can't be thrilled with the aggressive way porn companies are taking advantage of parody laws. But when that Vivid guy says shit like, "I'M rebooting the franchise, etc." I would imagine that's a call to war. AVATAR XXX is already coming out but I can't wait to see if one of these porn companies have the Death Star-sized balls take on STAR WARS. I have to imagine their fear of a mega-lawsuit with Lucasfilm is what's prevented a SW parody from happening so far. About the only XXX project more legally dangerous would be to make a porn parody of Scientology.

Wow. The first scene from Seinfeld looks great.

I have a feeling this is true, but not because Lucas is zealous about "protecting the brand." No, I think this is true due to his weirdly explicit fear of women and the vagina in particular. It might be interesting to see if they'd react, at all, to a gay porn parody.

It was good, but my only big beef (tee hee) with the picture is having Catwoman completely naked for her big scene at the end. I understand she couldn't do the scene in her skin tight outfit because it would be too hot with all the sweating involved in sex and there'd be no access to her groin, but they could have at least let her keep on her cat ears and/or face mask.

Isn't it more appealing to the film's target audience for the women to be clothed in comic book garb than the men? Batman and Robin keeping their costumes on but Catwoman taking everything off looks more like Batman and Robin having sex with some random woman. Kudos to Lexi Belle for doing her whole scene without taking off her Batgirl mask and even adjusting it instead of removing it when uncomfortable.

I agree that there should have been something between Catwoman and Batgirl too. They have been paired up in the '60s show (and the animated series) and they're the only hot superhero/supervillain costumed female characters in the movie so it makes perfect sense. What a missed opportunity. And yes, I realize the absurdity of over analyzing this production as I have.

Okay, I know and understand the wiggle room when it comes to parody, but still, I have to wonder at what point do the lawsuits start? It's cool with me that they're doing this stuff, I find it funny and kind of awesome, but the WB's legal dept. just has to be cooking up something.

Back in the 80s, there was a porn parody called Indiana Joan in the Black Hole of Mammoo. If memory serves correct from Entertainment Tonight reportings, the Lucas legal team got on it and had it pulled shortly. The distributors shortened the title to The Black Hole of Mammoo for a re-release. Oddly enough, there was a sequel released later on titled The Return of Indiana Joan, but no apparent legal action was taken against that one.

These recent parody titles seem too on the nose to get away with it, but they apparently are skating by, for now.

After the director's plan to sue anyone who downloaded the product that only exists based on theft itself, I hope WB successfully sues the shit out of them.

Actually, the recent swarm of extortion-esque settlement letters sent out by the move studios is starting to backfire. Not only has no "John Doe" been taken to court for refusing the pay their respective settlements* (the plan all along, methinks), but countersuits are forming against the movie studios and law firms employing the practice too.



* Ranging anywhere from $1500 - $4000, from the claims and documents posted online.

I get protection of parody under copyright. Although, can porn really be considered parody? What I'm surprised at is the lack of a lawsuit over trademark.

Yeah, the fact that they are using "Batman" in the title sounds like playing legal chicken. I thought porn parodies had to "remix" titles/names like the aforementioned "Indiana Joan"... Even Mad Magazine changed Superman to Superduperman.
