Some folks went overboard and got off-topic in that thread, but how does that make it different from 95% of the other threads here? To delete it just seems like sour grapes. Doug was a longtime member, and a lot of people liked him. I don't really think it's inconsistent with the spirit of the boards to make a bunch of stupid jokes as a tribute.

So, let this thread serve as a memorial to the memorial thread for the late, great Doug (aka BobClark). Earn it, Doug.

Also, I want to pay a brief tribute to BrianM, who wasn't as handsome or athletic as BobClark, but was much, much older. Huzzah to you, Brian -- you will be missed.

Allow me to preemptively start the "In Memoriam: The Joe LeFors Thread." Joe, I always liked how you started Memorial threads for memorials threads that memorialized BobClark and guys like BrianM.

Because it adds absolutely nothing to the situation. And it doesn't help. At all.

I may disagree with some of the decisions that were taken as much as you guys, but these kind of acting out is only childish and pointless.

Devin started a TIME OUT thread where it clearly states that Lima Oscar Lima and BrianM are on a one day TIME OUT, that's it.

I mean, Devin can delete any thread he wants, obviously, but deleting that one seems a little capricious to me.

And even one day without BrianM is difficult for me to bear. Have you ever seen the way the sunrise reflects off of his hair? Have you ever smelled his musk?
