This new DVD two disc set it a must have for horror of any age. It includes 5 documenties of Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Jr, Peter Lorre and Vincent Price. They cover their major films and they mostly cover their lives. This is a great set of discs.

Hey! I was gonna post on this!

But yes, it's a great DVD. It seems to be just the 5 eps of "Biography" on A&E with these gentlemen, but it's great and there are some cool extras. I've watched Lon Chaney Jr's (1st of course...I mean, he is Larry Talbot for god's sake!) and Bela Lugosi's.

Very cool. And the little extras are cool. They have the wierd staged interview with Bela that was on the White Zombie DVD and a Hollywood Parade one at at wax museum with Betty Boop singing to the statues. Bela as Dracula comes to life, stalks Betty and then with a "Betty...you have booped vour last boop" proceeds to bite her neck. Very fun

Oh yeah....and I'm not sure if I'm just losing memory as I get older, but I swear I've never seen this before. I find it impossible that I haven't, but you never know...

In the Lon Chaney Jr doc, they have a color picture of him in full makeup with (mmmmm) Evelyn Ankers. And I gotta say, I don't think I've ever seen a color pic of the Wolfman before. Or at least I never remember seeing one. If it was tinted, it was a damn good job.
