I promised a friend I would make her a mixed CD that's all about booty. Shamefully, the only song I know is that Sir Mix-A-Lot song. Can anyone help me out here?

I'm serious about all this.

Walker,

Also, Big Bottom. Go with the Spinal Tap original, then throw in the Soundgarden cover for shits. I'll think of more later but I'm about to go to Van Nuys for the night.

Booty list.

I hope it'll be of ass-istance.

ETA - How very fucking Fleedian of me.

Uth's link is missing a college perennial favorite...

'Bootylicious' - Destiny's Child

Thank you, gentlemen.

Uth, that list is probably going to end up being my baseline, and I can't believe I didn't think about Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls". I guess my awful racist tendencies were making me gravitate towards hip-hop.

You're welcome, Walker. Glad I could help out.

I can only offer you the official CHUD-approved ass-cover:

If you want to throw a left-field choice in there, there's Paul Westerberg's "Someone I Once Knew" (seriously - listen to the lyrics).

Then there's the ever-popular DJ Assault, who didn't make that list, surprisingly (too egalitarian in his appreciation of the female form, perhaps?).

Rumpshaker by Wreckx-n-Effect.
Stinkfist by Tool.
You could throw "Little Red Corvette" in there, since Prince sings "Girl, you got an ass like I've never seen."

Anyone who has seen Spike Lee's 'Skool Daze' knows how to do 'Da Butt' (E.U.)

Miraculously, there's no youtube to be found of this anywhere.

throw some country in there: Honky Tonk Badonkadonk

You could always throw in the Beastie Boys, Shake Your Rump. Any chance we will see the finished playlist here when you get it assembled?

And, on a lesser note perhaps, "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On"

Other Candidates:

"Big Ole Butt"

"Daisy Dukes"

That DJ Assault track DaveB linked is dangerously close to being every track. Thank GOD you suggested "Shame Your Rump".

How about something from the fine poets known as 2 Live Crew:

Shake A Lil' Somethin'

You can't go wrong with Xzibit's "Choke Me, Spank Me (Pull My Hair)."

Mos Def - "Ms. Fat Booty", but it sounds like it may be too good a song for such illustrious assortment of booty songs. Weak, it was already on that list.

Fat Bottom Girls - Queen
No one's suggested this yet?

69 Boyz - Daisy Dukes

I can't believe how far this song has fallen out of the public conscious... 26 posts and a booty list down a thread and still no mention? So sad.

It's not really about the ass so much but "Free your mind and your ass will follow" never hurt nobody.

I may just have to make a playlist on my phone with this theme and play it at the end of any dates that don't go well.

While I'm still driving her home.
