Pac Man turns 30 and Google makes anyone with a computer stop working

Thread Starter
So Pac Man decided to celebrate a birthday. It's still crazy that how simple the game is, it's still fun to play. Hit up www.google.com and you can play the game in the logo! Yes very cool (and it's not flashed based, so it runs on the iPhone).

I'd type more on how the video game business changed and what not, but typing from a mobile device sucks, and besides you should be playing Google Pac Man.

Guess we should post some high scores.

Tati bumped an older thread in the comics section, so it's no surprise you missed it.

I wonder how long Google will stay like this, it's too cool.

Of course, having it say 'Google' screws you up when you try to turn corners or move through any intersection near those letters. Ironic that Google gets in my way until I get swarmed over and die.

You can still play it even though it's gone at Google.com http://macek.github.com/google_pacman

HAHAHA.

Quote:
• 4,819,352 hours of time lost. This is above the 33.6 million man hours of attention Google gets on a regular day.

• More than $120 million in lost productivity, assuming the cost of the average Google user is $25 an hour (that's pay plus benefits.)

• I like this quote the best: "For that same cost, you could hire all 19,835 google employees, from Larry and Sergey down to their janitors, and get 6 weeks of their time."
