Shrek 4 Review - Where is it?

I understand how CHUD.com feels about the Shrek franchise, but to ignore a series, that for better or worse has grossed almost 2 Billion Dollars seems a bit disingenuous.

Yes you hate them, but why not review it. Do you only review movies you like? I see posters with CHUD's Pick of the Week on movies that get bad reviews. What is the criteria for reviewing a film?

ETA: Sorry I thought I was in the CHUD.COM Main.

I don't care about this issue at all. Shrek is dreck.


But, I want to use this opportunity to point out that sometimes films are reviewed but on the main page there is no poster with a red "reviewed" bar across it even though the films poster is there listed as "now playing" or whatever. It's not a big deal and that's not how I find reviews on the site, but I just thought you guys might appreciate knowing!

Really Dave? You're gonna go to bat for a thread about the supposed injustice of CHUD not reviewing, of all things, SHREK fucking 4? If you really, foolishly want to try to call Devin out for some perceived hypocrisy regarding the whole "not talking enough about movies" thing you could at least pick a better way to do it. You gotta think these things through more, people.

Frankly I'm glad they don't feel the need to whore themselves out with a Shrek review just for a couple stray hits. Why would anyone who frequents this site want/expect that?

How is it "disingenuous" not to review a given movie? Since this is a movie website, it's their job to review every movie that comes out? With the mention of the whole "movie of the week" business it seems like jay f is insinuating that the movie hasn't been reviewed due to some financial motivation besides no one wanting to pay to see it. Tinfoil hats anyone?

Devin, just to point out what I was talking about, on the main page right now MACGRUBER's poster (on the opening this week section) does not have a "reviewed banner" or link, and it' also not pick of the week which would make sense since you and Nick liked it so much.

Not a big deal just wanted to let you know

Yeah, I do still dig MYSTERY MEN, which came out two years before RAT RACE, so I'm way cooler than Stelios. The video for All Star had the cast of Mystery Men at a picnic or some shit with kiddie pools and stuff. It really sold that movie. I just love how a box office flop is attached to the biggest song of that summer.
