John Slattery is 48 and he plays a guy in his mid-to-late 50s on Mad Men (and presumably that's the age he was playing Howard Stark in Iron Man 2), so early twenties makes sense for the circa WWII Stark. 20 year old whiz kid Howard Stark working on the Manhattan and Super Soldier Projects works for me (though it is too bad that Slattery can't play
that young. He could easily do early thirties, though.)
