what're some good resources/starter texts for an aspiring documentary maker?

Ok, so I'm a journalism student, and my degree is decently fitted out for multimedia stuff - meaning I already have some experience in filming and editing.

The movie I'm working on is a very low key affair, mostly interviews (since the stuff I'm tackling has actually already happened, so basically what we'll need to do is hunt down footage.)

With that in mind, what do you guys think are some good places for me to read up more on the craft involved in documentary filmmaking? Sites, books, actual docs all welcome.

I would just watch as many docs as you can. That is what I am doing. Look at different documentaries and different types. Look at sports docs, surf docs, serious docs, film docs.
