Hell yes:

Actor Sir Patrick Stewart is knighted by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II during an investiture at Buckingham Palace in London, Wednesday June 2, 2010. The Queen is reported to be a fan of the star, who has enjoyed a 50-year career in movies, TV and the theatre including 16 years with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Holy shit, I thought this happened years ago. Or am I thinking of Anthony Hopkins?

That photo is seriously amazing.

Yeah, but I think it was a little more amazing when I posted it in the Star Trek thread.

Anyway, I think Patrick's association with Seth Macfarlane's shitfests makes him less than "knightworthy".

I'd cut him some slack since he mostly works on "American Dad" which has evolved from a blatant "Family Guy" rehash into its own show. A show that is frequently hilarious, I might add. Easily the best thing you could watch on Fox's Animation Domination (faint praise, I know).

I feel like kind of a twit when I look at that picture and can only think "It's too late. I've seen everything."

That's seriously one of the greatest things Patrick Stewart has done.

Does anyone else look at that picture and imagine him thinking "I'm coming for your job next..."

About time. Bless you, Sir Patrick.

True Story: a friend of mine has connections to the Biographer's Club, who had contacted Sir Patrick to become a member/patron/whatever. At this time, my friend was unemployed and living in this person's London flat, rent free.

One day he gets home and sits down to watch his Star Trek: TNG boxset. The flat's answer phone beeps, so he checks it. The first words that come out (and I've got a recording of it somewhere): "Oh, hello. This is Patrick Stewart..." He rang me before the message even finished, he was so excited.

He went on to leave a 3 minute message. He's the most gracious, gentlemanly person in the world. A class act and a great actor. Here's to Sir Patrick Stewart.

A friend of mine worked with him doing some VOs and said the same thing. Apparently, he's funny as hell, too.

I'm surprised he didn't make her clothes fall of, perfect opportunity really (fuck it, the joke has been made).

Wait, is that a Knight and a Senator in the same sketch?

Oh come on, people!

I don't think you people really understand. He's already seen everything.
