I dug this quite a bit. A David O Russell flick, Stiller plays Mel, a guy looking for his birth parents whilst dealing with troubles in his relationship with and inability to name his new child. It's quite scattergun, and a mishmash of road trip movie and Woody Allen-esque comedy, and a lot of the comedy really works. It's got a really fun energy going throughout and does look a bit at finding out and accepting what your role in the world is, relationship-wise.
Stiller is good, Richard Jenkins is absolutely the MVP here though ('You can't catch the wind!'), ably supported by Josh Brolin- is Jenkins ever not great?
