The real question is did the guy fall on his sword? If not a perfect opportunity was missed.

At the very least he last words should have been, “anything to get rid of this fucking hangover.”

Years ago I worked in a place a few doors down from the office where this happened. I guess i should have guessed a nondescript office building in van nuys had a porn company or two.
