Watching Youtube on the Xbox 360

Received an Xbox 360 elite recently and am looking to watch youtube, google video etc on my LCD TV through it. What’s the easiest way? I know the Xbox head recently said “there will never be a browser on the Xbox” but there must be a way. Looking around it seems ‘Tversity’ is one solution but does anyone know any other methods?

Thanks.

I don't own an xbox, but maybe this helps? I hope so.

Thanks, although I'm not sure what that is. I'll try Tversity.

It's not worth risking turning your Xbox into a brick just so it can play YouTube videos. Go spend $100 on a refurbished Samsung Bluray player if you really want to watch YouTube on your TV. Plus Hulu is coming out on Xbox soon, so there's that.

Trade it in for a PS3 if you need the feature that bad, really.

or go buy a desktop pc from goodwill, upgrade a few things and make an HTPC!

You install it on your PC and it lets you view YouTube, Hulu and Amazon video-on-demand, as well as content from network sites like Comedy Central, CBS and ESPN. It's got a 14-day free trial, and after a few days I sprang for the full version (only about $40) and have been pretty happy with it.

Thanks. The xbox was a present from the wife so I can't really trade it in for a PS3, much as I'd like to. Don't think so anyway! Blu-ray players are still too pricey here in the UK, a good one is £125, about $180, so i'll wait. Nobody's used Tversity?

Hell, even the iPhone can output youtube to your tv if you have the cables.

Don't have an iphone! I've got the Sony W995, although I'm considering getting the Sony X10 Experian.
