From the snippits here, sounds like good ol'fashioned Detroit techno... but in cases like this, I'm always curious how the music would work in the movie.
Several years ago, Jeff Mills did a rescoring of Metropolis. I saw the rescored movie at the Sonar Music Festival in Barcelona, it worked really well- but a silent film like that lends itself more easily to such projects.
