I don't think Dave Mustaine would be physically capable of doing that.

I went, and they did have most everybody from the Big 4 on stage for Am I Evil at the end of Metallica's set. The only one I didn't see was Kerry King from Slayer. I also didn't see Araya and Jeff Hanneman until the end of the song in time for the group photo. Lombardo was on stage, though, banging on a drum during the entire song. Everybody looked to be having a great time, and Hetfield, Belladonna and Mustaine each took turns on vocals - with Hetfield and Mustaine jamming together side by side for a good bit of it. And the song was HEAVY as hell with all of them jamming on it.

All in all it was a pretty cool experience watching what was, basically, the soundtrack of my high school years. Each band was on fire musically, especially Megadeth; however there was something severely wrong with Mustaine's voice......more so than normal for those that don't like his voice to begin with. It sounded damaged. But, like I said, musically him and his band was on fire. Slayer were as brutal as ever, and Anthrax just looked happy to be there. It was obvious Belladonna is very out of practice when it comes to stage presence and large crowds, but it was funny watching him try. Metallica made sure they weren't going to be shown up by the other bands as each member was really on his game - even Lars who can be a really decent drummer when he wants to be. He may have been the least of the drummers for that show, but that's only because the other three guys are monsters of metal drummers, but Lars really did close the gap by really getting down and serious behind his kit.

The theater I was in was about 75% full, and it was nice being around a bunch of aging Metal Heads, and a surprising number of younger metal heads as well. It was definitely a Metallica crowd, though the other three bands had their fans, and everybody was into each band. It was a 4 hour show even with edited set lists and set changes being edited out, but it was a great time.
