Curious what everyone thought of the show since I am working on it. And yes, that will be the end of me discussing my involvement on the show in this thread.

Shit. 8 million commercials, I really wanted to watch it and I forgot to set my DVR. Do you know if they're rerunning the premiere?

I thought, for a pilot episode, it was OK. There was enough there to get me back for a couple more episodes to see how it goes. It was kind of a mess in spots.

Casey, I liked it. I thought the story with a legend of radio was very endearing.

It was more serious than I was expecting (but being on TNT I guess I shouldn't have expected something like the USA shows) but generally interesting. For a procedural it had at least an interesting first case.

I will admit that the parts where Jason Lee was supposed to be 'singing' really stuck out at me as not being him singing. Still, I'll keep watching for a little bit at least. It'll be interesting to see where it goes from here.

I enjoyed it. Alfre's character is pretty great, I thought, and the amount of humor they do let in works for me. I liked the "spirit of radio" story, too.

They certainly got their mileage out of "Green Onions," eh?

I just visited Memphis a couple of weeks ago, so it was fun to spot a few landmarks in the Memphis-shot scenes. So it's mostly shooting in NO?

Wasn't it originally called 'Delta Blues'? Which would imply they changed the setting after the fact?

I did read that it it mostly shot in New Orleans, altho some shots are in Memphis. I didn't know about the name change.

It might be to accomodate Lee singing an icon, I dunno. I'm not even really sure it's him singing, altho from the Almost Famous extras he has a good voice.

Casey, I know you don't want to be the Domingo for Supernatural, but I would not mind some insight for some things from you. I can't speak for anyone else.
