Arg, I just realized I'm gonna be out of town the weekend of the B-league draft and won't be able to get to a computer to participate. I don't mind being on auto-draft if need be, but would anyone object to moving the draft up a few days, maybe the Sunday before? Again, if the 5th is what works best for everyone, no big deal.

If we move to the week before, it would have to be in the evening, as I have a live auction draft at 11:30 that morning.

Actually, I would think that the fact that someone gets one extra keeper is a bonus and not something that a team without a rookie should be penalized for. As it is now, I will end up getting Glen Coffee or Matt Leinert with my last pick, whereas some lucky punk gets 3 keepers and Mark Sanchez or Percy Harvin.

It's called a strategy. You could have picked up any rookie over the many weeks before the season ended. I drafted Shonn Green of the Jets last year and had to drop him to make room for injured players and Kolb. Anyone could have picked him with the foresight of using him for next year esp. when it was clear he was being groomed as a starter.

This isn't a new rule. I always look at rookies to draft with who can help me now, towards the end of the year, and the following year. I think it's a great rule that rewards people for drafting rookies and keeping them on their roster.

Personally I'm cool with where it is currently set as Sunday evening is when I am least likely to be out drinking. I have actually never participated in a live draft before. Most other times drafts were held when I was working and I just auto-drafted. However I wouldn't be opposed to a change at all and if it conflicts with work I will auto-draft then too. If it is changed I would prefer a Sat. or Sun. but will cool with whatever.

I'm probably going to miss the A-league draft, just so you guys know. My money league draft was rescheduled. I'm ok with the auto-draft. I just moved Grossman, Westbrook, and Torry Holt to the top of my list so I should be ok.

Would sometime next weekend be acceptable? Maybe Saturday (the 28th) afternoon or Sunday (the 29th) evening? Basically any day/time outside of the 3-5th of September is preferable for me.

I know its kind of a hassle to reschedule all this, so if it can't happen, no big deal.

Our A-league draft is at 3 PM ET on Sunday the 29th, and I just joined a friend's league in Yahoo whose draft is at 3:45 PM ET. Although he did say they might move it.

It looks like if we want an evening draft time in the b-league it's going to have to be on saturday evening....wont let me set a draft time past 3pm on sunday.

Apropos of nothing since I am not in the CHUD league, but I totally forgot about my one and only draft tonight while I was out doing errands and now I am stuck with fucking Cutler and Chad Henne as my QBs. I just needed a place to vent.

I haven't had access to the internet in a couple weeks so I was a little shocked when I saw the B league draft moved up to this Sunday. That's an ok time though.

We can still make it 12 players before then though! We only need 2 more players.
