Great season everyone. Would love to do the B-league again next season for sure.

And now, my championship rests on the shoulders of Tim Tebow.

My dilemma is that in my two championship games this week, I have Aaron Rodgers going in one, but I'm facing him in the other. Ouch!

So you'll be all like.."YESSSSS!!!!!!, OH CRAP!......"
I've got a decent lead in the game where I don't have Rodgers, so I can take a good day from him in the other game that's closer. Apparently my late pickup of Jerome Simpson was a good call, too.

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd to have fantasy championship games going on in Week 17?
Yep. I completely forgot that my team was playing today since I lost last week...OPPS
post #857 of 873
I've always preferred it because I want one more regular season game in the leagues I play in. And if you're doing Yahoo, open transactions make it bearable. In keeper leagues with limited transactions, though, I can see why you'd want Week 16 to be your championship week.
Yeah, my money league locks rosters once the playoffs start except to replace players that go on IR, so having the playoffs run past Week 16 is sort of foolish.

I was saying this before the season started but never heard a peep. Posted it in here and on the message board.

peep?

ok, kidding.
I hate the headaches that come with finding out whos going to rest, but I love getting as much fantasy football as possible. So yeah, I can go either way with week 17.

Tebow performed admirably. The rest of my stupid garbage players did not. Danny Amendola needs to have the game of his life tonight.
2-for-2 so far this week, and unless Amendola goes Torry Holt on the Hawks, should be 3-3. Not too bad.. Arian Foster is an absolute beast and I'm glad I've got him in two keeper leagues.

Second (eighth) place isn't too bad (yes, it is).
4th place in the B league..woot...ha
First time ever playing, missed the draft and won the consolation bracket for 5th place. Not bad.

This year would have been a good one for letting the computer auto-draft, as almost no "lock" was a lock this year aside from Brady, Manning, and Rodgers. Hell, I had Chris Johnson and Reggie Wayne in one league and went 5-8.

Oh yeah...finished 9th in the B-League. Next season I will bring it hardcore though...just watch.

Too bad I didn't let it do that, and instead did a personal ranking beforehand that it went off of. Which didn't go too well, because I didn't really think it out that much/didn't know what I was doing.
This season could have been titled "My Adventures With Waivers".

Third place in the B-League for me. Will definitely be back.
Did I miss it? Who won the B-League?
Flying Zendejas Bros. (me) took it with a resounding 129.56-105.00 win over the Hong Kong Cavaliers, mostly behind the beastly day of Arian Foster (31 pts). HKC's decision to start Tim Tebow at QB paid off, but Jerome Harrison was his only other offensive player to get 10+ points on the day.

Figured I'd let one of the official folks start a new thread, but we need to get everything ready.  Like the teams themselves, we won't have much time to get the league(s) up and rolling (and filling any vacant spots) once this lockout ends.
