Anyone else had a look at this female-oriented horror zine Ax Wound? It's pretty good. If you liked Carol Clover's Men, Women and Chainsaws, this is another piece of ammo to use when the whole "horror is misogynist/women don't like horror" thing pops up.
Note: since Herschell Gordon Lewis and Eli Roth have given the zine a shout-out, it's apparently gotten popular enough that publisher Hannah Neurotica is having a bit of trouble keeping up with orders. So expect to wait a bit.
Also I'm just happy that, in the era of Twitter and blogs, there are still honest-to-god, cut-and-paste, stapled-together physical zines. (Not that this is news. I'm just saying.)
