I guess some people will really like this.

The opening bit made me laugh. The rest, not so much.

Quite a "meh" trailer indeed. I thought Jamie Foxx was supposed to have a big role in this, yet here he looks to be just another supporting character.

I do like the looks of Zach's other film, "It's Kind of a Funny Story".

I don't know, I think it looks decent so far. I'm a sucker for a decent road-trip comedy and I like the two leads, so I'll check it out. Had no idea Jamie Foxx was in this though.

It looks moderately amusing, but it looks like they're sitting well under the shadow of Planes, Trains and Automobiles so far. Having said that, this will be huge.

I only agree about Galifinakis needing to be less ominpresent because what I love about his standup is not what I love about his movie roles and I have a feeling movie him is going to get old very fast.

Yup on all accounts.

I will admit that maybe i am just hopeful because of my love for all involved but the trailer had a few chuckles so I'll remain hopeful.

Seems like Hangover 2.0. Not really a bad thing though.

When his casting was announced, his role was (SPOILERS KINDA): he's an ex boyfriend of Michelle Monaghan who's trying to steal her away from Downey Jr. while she's stuck in L.A. and he's on the other side of the country.

That doesn't SEEM to mesh with what we see of him in the trailer, so, I dunno.

Ending on that "You better check yourself before you wreck yourself" joke was a bad move. What a horrible button gag.

I was expecting a lot more from this film. I was hoping Zach G would be playing a different type of character, for one thing. He's managed to go from an actor I really want to see more of to someone I desperately want to see less of in just one year. Impressive. I think it took Jack Black at least two or three years before that happened with him.

That was a bizarre trailer. You have to sort of figure out the premise of the movie on your own.

All I kept thinking during the trailer is "I hope he gets RJD to do an episode of 'Between Two Ferns.' "

Agreed with Patrick. It almost makes it hard to understand the plot. Just that these 2 guys travel.

I didn't like it at all.

meh is the right word.

It has the potential to be good. The Planes, Trains, Automobiles vibe is dead on. Hangover 2.0 um...not really.

And I'm not really tired of Galifanakis. I mean he's done the Hangover and what else...G-Force and Youth in Revolt. People are tired of him after all that...wow.

Looks like another Todd Phillips film which is far weaker than the sum of its parts.

If he didn't cast so well he'd be considered a Shawn Levy-esque hack.

oh and I'm not sick of Zach either, his is a shtick (like Ferrell/unlike Black) I can really get behind.

Eh. I was pretty indifferent until that terrible joke about the dog at the end. Such a lazy move. I was really hoping Galifinakis would say something along the lines of "You can rip a dog in half?!"

I digress. I'm obviously not getting paid to write comedies. Then again, this looks like another movie written by mediocre on-set improv.

And this. The film could all be worth it just to get a Between Two Ferns with Downey.

Man, I hope this is better than it looks because it barely elicited a chuckle from me. And I'm a HUUUUUUUUGE RDJ and Galafianakis fan. That final "check yourself..." joke was utterly painful. All parties involved are so much better than that kind of shit it hurts.

So is Zach playing a gay man or another man-child character?
