Everybody's favorite obsessive lunatic is back. He's been using a proxy to sign up on the board, but he's unable to moderate his schtick, and he always gets banned within a few posts.
Lately he has also taken to harassing me on Twitter, Formspring and via email. His new favorite thing is to send emails to Nick begging for me to be taken care. You can tell it's him every time because he is utterly fixated on the idea that I am either drunk or hungover ALL THE TIME. He has a really weird misunderstanding of how being drunk works.
Anyway, here's the latest email. It's pretty funny because he used this same fake name to send a different email about how mean I am (in reference to the dudalb thread); now he's all hopped up about his most recent banning. I like the idea that this person, who claims to be neither BusterG or the recently banned member, KNOWS that the IP address of the recently banned member is different from BusterG's. What a specific piece of knowledge to have.
Anyway, I imagine he posts elsewhere. You guys ever see someone who matches the BusterG profile on another board?

He obviously had one who was migrating over from another forum, and because he was rude and cranky has probably alienated someone who might have publicized CHUD at Cinemablend. Devin's sensitivity about posting other website's material is due to his recent fight with Jeffrey Wells, where Devin insisted that Wells not use a quote from Devin (which Wells was probably within his rights to use under fair use). Again, why doesn't Devin want attention drawn to his name and this site? Mentioning Devin is publicity for this site. Wells seems to not have borne a grudge, happily giving Devin publicity in his recent Inception review as being "more correct than A.O. Scott", but why is Devin insisting on alienating everyone on the net? As for the matter of Devin's drinking ... as witnessed in the Alex Billington episode, he's a mean drunk, and that incident made him and the site he's based on look bad. It's likely he DID get drunk while at ComicCon this weekend, and this is why he's hungover, paranoid and quick on the trigger with his bans, based on psychic knowledge that the person is "BusterG" or whatever.
