Very nice interview.
Anytime I hear Guillermo is involved with a film, I'm excited. Add in Nick and Troy, I'm fucking sold. I've been hearing some good buzz coming from Comic Con.

I love del Toro's anecdote about how they were actually shooting for a PG-13 for the film by keeping the movie clean of vulgarity but were totally happy with the fact that they got an R for 'pervasive scariness' by the MPAA. The fact that the MPAA told him not to change a thing is a sweet bonus.

I am very excited for Troy- many years ago he was a fan of my '80s comic,EAGLE- he sent in fan art and then went on to do his own comic BILL THE CLOWN- after that we lost touch- then years later I hear he's directing a major motion picture with Del Toro- I was flabbergasted- this has made me very proud- I can't wait to see his film - I hope someday we'll reconnect and  chat about the good ol' days ...;o)
