You Wrestling Theme Tune:

Thread Starter
OK so this being out of work is finally starting to drive me mad. I was thinking this morning after dropping the wife off at work that if I was a wrestler my theme tune would be Flash! by Queen, simply because it feels like it should be one.

Indulge me, what would yours be and why?

Gay Bar.

It would bring up wrestling's homo-eroticism so uncomfortably that would cause walk outs and psyche out my opponent.

Elbows "Ground For Divorce" for no other reason than I thought it would be a great song to walk into a room and beat the shit out of someone to.

"Wuthering Heights" by Kate Bush. A month after my faked death in the ring, I shall return with "Boys of Summer" by Don Henley.

I feel like I'm just not Southern enough to use it, but.....

Hey, if you're gonna do a ridiculous costumed character, make sure you ape the best.

"Doctorin' the Tardis" by the Timelords.

I don't know if you're a dude or a girl, but marry me. No, seriously.

As for my choice, I have to think on this a bit.

Konflict - Messiah (Spor Remix)

I'd have it drop at 1:30. I'd let the bass run for a second then come out when the drums kick in

(nooo I haven't spent time thinking about this...i swear )

After much consideration, I'd use "Real American" and just dare Hulk Hogan to take it away from me.

Not that I've thought about it or anything, but...

Blur - Song #2

Yeah, it's cliche, but I don't care. I do love "Walk" that RVD used to come out to, though.

Street Hassle by Lou Reed. I wouldn't walk out until around minute 7 when that extra thick bass kicks in.

Anyone who's played the recent smackdown games on a console has already done this. My friends and I create ourselves in the game so we can beat the hell out of each other.

My video game version of me comes out to "Everybody Knows" by Leonard Cohen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG5e1oaen if you want to see it matched up to scenes from The Man From U.N.C.L.E., cause I mean, who wouldn't?).

Naturally, I'm a heel.

Over the past ten years, I've used a tonne of different themes, depending on what promotion I was working for, and whether I was face or heel. The earliest I can remember was Mephisto Odyssey's "Crash". Recently it's been Ramallah's "Days Of Revenge" . . . but I have my retirement match coming up in November, so I think I'll go back to "The Ecstasy Of Gold" for that final night.

I prefer The Birds of War.

I would walk out to Ghosts I - 8 by Nine Inch Nails I thought this would be perfect music the first time I heard it. It smacks of sweaty balls and gyrating hips which always seemed important in Pro Wrestling walk songs when I was growing up

"Going To Town" by the Afghan Whigs, the ultimate in "walk on like a pimp" accompaniment.

"Get your stroll on, bay-baaaay!"

I should warn you now, my idea of a good time doesn't involve much of the nit-picking and pointless hostility that so many married couples go in for. If that doesn't jive with your plans, maybe it's just not meant to be between us, Virt...

Great Henley pick earlier, by the way.
