Am I the only one who rejoices at this news?

THIS ROCKS!

No, you're not the only one. I can't wait to see this again. This movie really traumatized me as a kid and it's been at least twenty years since I've watched it so it should be a blast to check it out for the first time as an adult. I do wish the DVD cover art was a little better but I'm not going to quibble about it.

I haven't seen this movie in YEARS. Looking forward to it, it'll be like seeing it for the first time.

Yeah, oliver Reed in the pool scared the hell out of me as a kid. Not to mention the creepy final scene.
This one reminded me of an old Hammer House of Horror episode, "The House That Bled To Death".

Haunted house movies in contemporary settings. Cool. Yeah.

I rejoice oh how I rejoice!
Let me clue you in...as a kid I saw this probably 12 times at the theater in my old hometown of Chico, CA. Then, I move to Aokland where the house in the film actually is. I would sit on the lawn in a *ahem* "creative" state of mind and reflect on the film.
Also, my dream is to see this remade by Nakada Hideo of RING and DARK WATER fame.
Dude, I am so gonna be all over this dvd on the DAY it's released.

Soon my BURNT OFFERINGS movie poster will be signed by Karen Black! (hopefully she IS signing at FANGO CON in May...)

E mail me yer info (name, number, etc) at

Are you into music at all? Thats what I did when I lived down there. I've jammed in some of the better metal and heavy bands of the area.

What kind of stuff do you listen too? (I am NOT just metalmetalmetal either...) and have you heard of the Oakland band THE SERVANTS? Thats my best friend Chris' band...they are really great, Black Crowes-ish but with more power.
