Woah. It's becoming a golden age of fighting games right now... and I hate myself because I STILL have not played Street Fighter 4 or Super Street Fighter 4 yet. I most definitely care more about bringing the Tekken fighters into the Street Fighter world, moreso than the other way around, so I definitely care more about the first game. I find the Tekken games to be kind of boring.

I've never been very good at fighting games, so I never got into them as much as others have. Still, I'm familiar enough with both franchises to find this interesting. But for me, the best part of the trailer was the Pac-Man/Mega Man bit. Because I'm old and lame.

Street Fighter X Tekken, looks very cool! I have...never, played Tekken, I guess that will change now, because of the 2...SFXT games! I am a...Huge Street Fighter fan though, so more...SF II,III, IV etc, is good to me!

The video of the gameplay was fun, for the audience reaction, and for how actually cool it seemed. I grew up with SFII and I loved Tekken 2 in college. I bought SFIV and tried playing it with a normal 360 gamepad. That sucked, so I traded it in. But between Marvel vs. Capcom 3, this, Tekken 6, and SSFIV, I think I need to get a fightpad and start playing.

The video, like the MvC3 videos, is gorgeous. Game looks great.

I think it'll be awkward for the two companies when Street Fighter X Tekken sells twice as much as Tekken X Street Fighter.

Scott, Less awkward for...Capcom, as their game is before the Tekken one! The only reason I am even buying...Both is for the, Street Fighter side!

I didn't realize the games were going to be released so far apart. I guess the thing that weirds me out the most about this idea is Street Fighter IV has had a successful revitalization whereas Tekken has unsuccessfully attempted to attain the peaks that it reached with Tekken 3. It's not just that they play differently, it's just that Street Fighter keeps improving upon its high pedigree while Tekken really hasn't made any interesting advancements to the way its played.

I had high hopes for Tekken 6, but it turned out to be more of the same with some terrible new characters. In other words, I am in complete agreement.

I'm not much of a fighting game guy. I got really into Mortal Kombat and had a good time reaming everybody at family bbq's with Smoke and Kung Lao but I have to say that trailer has me interested in Street Fighter and Tekken for the first time in forever. Real 4 player 2 vs. 2 and 4 player free for all. It looks like an amazing cluster fuck. Color me a bit more interested.
