Laurence Fishburne's Daughter -- Porn Star

Cripes.

Wonder if they'll capitalize of the family tree and call it something like "The Furious Styles of Montana" or "Bumpin' Hard Johnsons".

Kim's success is related more to her big asset shown in that tape than the scandal or unsurprising release of the tape.

Tabloid attention? I think Kim might be earning a lot of money due to her instant celebrity status. That's success in her environment.

You need to see her in the interview. That photo doesn't do her justice. I saw a beautiful young woman whom I would like to see naked and having sex, which pretty much covers the basic porn star requirements. Seeing her in that pic next to her old man shows there's a facial resemblance. But if she just went by "Chippy D" and never cashed in on the family name, no one would have made the connection.

So, c'mon Vivid... where's the publicity shots? Or a trailer?

Her "success" is really more related to the fact that she has no education, no discernible skills or talents, just happens to be the daughter of one of the most famous and successful litigators to ever practice in California, and has no shame in living off her family and the wealth of others. Anyone who thinks Kardashian is a "success" of any sort either has a depressing view of what success consists in or just no fucking clue whatsoever.

Now she's getting her picture passed around, having threads started about her by people who had never heard of her, and will mostly likely get offers to go on talk shows, be part of some shitty reality series and have a tell-all book written about her. Mission Accomplished.

I said this above yesterday, but after some deeeeeep thought... I was being super naive. Probably won't happen with Fishburne, but at some point someone will get a legitimate mainstream career through a start in hardcore pornography. Now pardon me while I go write my letters to the editor...

Before she started looking like a duck with AIDS, it looked like Jenna Jameson was going to be that person. She managed to cross over into mainstream appeal and had major television appearances, videogame appearances, bestselling books and so forth. All that was missing was a mainstream film career. Then the nineties ended, she started looking like a particularly odd Duckman character, and that ship sailed.

The exceptions that prove the rule? Very, very few porn actresses cross over and achieve sustained mainstream success and recognition. (I'd almost hazard to say "none," but I don't know that for sure.)

I just feel sad for Laurence Fishburne. I can't even imagine how this would make me as a father feel, other than gutpunched with a rusty fishhook.

I'm certainly not a "blame the parents" guy, after all, she does have the free will to be as stupid as she wants, but the reality is that we don't exactly know what kind of father Fishburne is. Maybe he raised her to be smarter than this, but maybe he didn't.

I'd pin the blame more on the company she keeps (Pumper's her boyfriend, like I said) than the parents. Of course, I DON'T KNOW, but it's more apparent to me. Dad works, and the girl hangs out and mixes with the wrong crowd. And, hell, maybe she's just dumb and gullible by nature.
