I despise people like this girl, NOT because of the involvement with porn, but because they candidly state that fame is ALL that matters to them and because they even take it for granted that everyone else harbors the same desire.
She probably thinks she has just more "courage" than the next girl.
I'm sure a mind like that can't even conceive the simple fact that, to many, discretion and a serene life are actually *desirable*.

I'll stress it again, it's not something related to porn, by itself: I'm sure there are a lot of pornstars who, while obviously far from being shy people, manage to keep a degree of decency about them and even respectability, avoiding to be blatant and inappropriate when it's not needed for their work.
This girl just strikes me as a totally empty person. I may be wrong, but the clues are clear.
I hope her plan for "success" will fail and that she'll only manage to deeply embarrass her father (which, I guess, she has done already)

so showing yourself get plowed on camera, will eventually make your dad proud. It is what it is, there is no "growing" factor to your career. It's not like dissapointing dad when you told him yourgoing into the arts, to only later show him it made your life better, and succesful.

Is there anything worse for a father then this? I mean, how can you look back at her childhood, and not think " I failed"

It's sad to see this family drama play out before the press. Many people are involved in that industry, but most parents don't have to face questions from reporters about their children's involvement

PS Also kind of tragic that she thinks this will help her career. Maybe if it were another faked "leak" it might have had that effect, but I don't think this will kick start her future the way this has gone

People could believe that he leaked the tape against her will, or someone in his circle did. That way, she'd get the attention but also get to retain her image as a classy rich famous child of a movie star. Instead, she just comes off as a tragic figure here IMHO, and one in whom peoples interest will probably evaporate soon enough.

And for the record - and believe me as I'm entirely conscious saying this: if I were a father of a pornstar daughter, I could totally overcome the shock and even accept the whole thing if only I saw the sparkle of intelligence and awareness in her eyes.
I mean, I'd accept the whole "free will" thing in such a case and I'd tell myself "if she's happy this way, so be it. I know she knows herself, life is short, so be it".

But frankly, this hardly seems to be the case here.

Well, Vivid went live with the trailer and promo pics. And this whole thing set the Internet on fire, so they're rushing the release date to next week. Clever boys get you on a mailing list to see what's what.

And...

Well, she's a really hot young woman with a killer bod who is having sex on camera (what little they show of it) for money and who has daddy issues. Definitely porn star material, and that should be enough. But Vivid is writing "What Love Got To Do With It?" all over the box, making it all about her name. No mention of "Chippy D" or whatever anywhere in the promotion.

Helluva way to hurt the old man, hun. Most porn star's dads don't get their name on the video box. I mean, ouch.

When Predators hits DVD, there's going to be a lot of wild re-edits of Fishburne's crazy-talk scene.

Fishburne and some of his closest friends got together and offered Vivid Entertainment $1,000,000 to buy up ALL of the DVDs, so no one can see them. Vivid Prez Steve Hirsch said he would accepted the deal, but that most of the DVDs had already shipped out, and it was too late.

Man, poor Fishburne. That's a helluva act, to buy up every single copy.

tottaly agree. Her being delusional or something, thinking this might be her way to make it big in Hollywood is heartbreaking for her... but her saying "i just wanted to be fucked infront of cameras so guys can jack off to me at home", is heartbreaking for her father. He's probably sitting back, blaming himself for the whole thing. It's not like she needs the money, or has no other options....
