Sad, sad, sad.

RIVERSIDE, N.Y. (WPIX) - A man is accused of fatally striking a 17-month-old infant he was babysitting Sunday night on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation on Long Island, according to New York State police.

The suspect has been identified as Pedro Jones, 20, of South Hampton. He has been charged with first-degree manslaughter after allegedly hitting the boy "several times throughout his body with close fists" and grabbed him by the neck, according to the felony complaint filed by police.

Authorities say Jones also told them, "I was trying to make him act like a boy instead of a little girl. I never struck that kid that hard before."

The infant, Roy A. Jones, was reportedly found in cardiac arrest and was rushed to Southampton Hospital where he died around 8:30 p.m.

"I just found out my Grandson died last night that's all I know," Donna Collins Smith.told PIX 11 News.

Police said Jones, who is not a member of the Shinnecock nation but lives on the reservation, is the boyfriend of the baby's mother.

"He infiltrated my family through our trust, through the heart of my daughter and then stole the life of her child," said the baby's grandfather Daniel Collins. "I hope the justice system turns around and steals his."

Jones pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Monday at Southampton Town Justice Court. He is currently being held without bail at Suffolk County jail.

Additional charges or the current charge could be upgraded pending the completion of the investigation, police said.

I look forward to large men in smacking him for acting like a little girl in prison.

It's times like these that you need the Hulk around. He can grab this guy by the neck and beat the shit out of him until he dies and then just be done with the whole matter. I'm sure the Hulk's fees would be less than the cost of the trial and housing this prick. Save the county some money while we're at it.

I'm pretty sure he'll end up many inmates 'little girl' once he's inside.

I wonder, is it because of the internet we have access to more stories like these, or is there something in these new generations of people that they don't understand how to take care of children?

"Not Guilty"? Then who does he think is responsible? What's this POS' alibi?

Read How to Make Friends and Influence People, the opening part of the book explain this to you.

Manslaughter? Really? How is that not Murder? He punched a baby multiple times, what did he expect to happen?

To me, that's like shooting someone in the head to get rid of a headache.

Lock the fucker up... nah, I say string him up and let people punch him, with knives. I have no sympathy for child killers, let alone, baby killers.

Murder means he intended to kill the baby. Manslaughter is he did it accidentally.

guess it's easier to prove manslaughter.. but really, what did he expect?

Like I said, punching a baby multiple times, is like shooting someone in the head to cure a headache... the results are pretty muched guarenteed wether you intended it or not

It's by no means guaranteed. A fuckstain like this has probably punched kids before with different results. Any charge that will stick to this bastard and make him do hard time is fine by me. Prisoners often have kids and have strong views on how they're treated. I expect that nature will take its course inside.

What he said. I hope that piece of crap meets someone like the skinhead in The Butterfly Effect his first day in prison.

you think a grown man punching a baby multiple times, isn't going to kill it? What babies from Krypton are you around?

His words

"I never struck that kid that hard before. A one-time mistake and I am going to do 20 years."

He sounds like he's saying "I screwed up ONE TIME man... ONE TIME!"

Yeah, killing a baby is a one time mistake? What a piece of shit, I hope the prisoners in NY run a train on his ass before shiving his head to pieces.

It's the "little girl" bit that is so extraordinary here. What in God's name was he thinking as he beat that child. I say this absolutely literally when I say I hope he dies a very violent death. They put down dogs that attack children...

Not to mention that his comment implies he had been beating the baby for some time beforehand... Just not THAT hard.

Yeesh, I really wish we had more details about this guy and his life. I'm curious about how a creature so awful could have been formed.

I'll skip the obligatory comment about wanting to skin him, boil him alive, shove fire ants up his ass, blah blah blah, but yeah he's a piece of shit alright.

It's always the "boyfriend" in these murdered infant stories.

this story broke my heart....
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,326785,00.html

the 911 call is terrible, a couple found what they thought was a doll on the road, and it turned out to be a baby, with it's head smashed in. The father threw him out the window of his car after he smashed the babies head in for crying.

sad part is, I could post 100 stories simular to these two. I don't understand how people could do this.

Reminds me of another story from 5 years ago.

Quote:
Ronnie Antonio Paris (December 9, 2001 - January 28, 2005) was a three-year-old African American boy who lived with his parents in Tampa, Floridamarker. He died on January 28, 2005, due to brain injuries stemming from severe abuse at the hands of his father, who thought the child would turn out to be gay, and forced the boy to box with him in an effort to keep him from growing up "soft" or becoming a "sissy."

It might be time to bump the child permits thread, jesus christ. So many people should not be anywhere near children and there's basically no regulation.
You know, even if he only spends a week in real prison I think he's gonna learn his lesson if his crime gets out among the other inmates. Though I'm not sure I'm comfortable with him being around children ever again. Seems like one incident followed by a bunch of anal rape is a good way to make a baby serial killer.

I say cut his hands off.

I'm thinking he could do just as much damage, if not more, with hooks. And maybe I've seen too many horror movies, but at this point it just sounds like we're TRYING to recreate Freddy Kruger.

They should brutally beat this fucker half to death, break his neck just enough to paralyze him, and leave him in the street with a big sign atop him stating what he did so that everyone that happens to walk by to know not to give him any aid.
While we are talking about people who should not have children.

There is no punishment, imaginable by man, which would be harsh enough for this guy.

That's not exactly what I meant, man. Talk to any social worker and you will find out rapidly how often grown men (and women, of course) punch, kick, pinch, bite, and generally physically abuse kids of all ages without killing them. Physically harming a baby or toddler is just about the most awful and repellent thing a person can do, but it is by no means a guarantee that you're going to kill the child. Many of those little people survive to be punching bags for their "parents" and "loved ones" again and again. And some of them even grow up to pass on the tradition.

By calling the guy a "fuckstain" and intimating that his probable previous experience hitting kids had not caused their death, I was attempting to point out that this savagely ignorant, monstrous motherfucker might not have known that he could kill the kid. And since I want the charge to stick to this piece of shit so that more direct and appropriate punishment can be meted out at the hands of his moral superiors in the penitentiary, manslaughter might be a better way to go...legally speaking, as you were wondering aloud in your previous post.

Any charge that would stick to send this guy to prison is good with me. If they don't think they can make murder stick, go with manslaughter. That's all I'm saying.

I'm so goddamn sick of hearing about it at this point, I wouldn't know if Casey Anthony had been rescued from prison by Wookiees with jet packs. It's turned into more of a circus about Anthony and her parents and her lawyers than about what happened to that little girl.

pretty much. All has to due with Casey being an attractive woman. Fact is, she's just a party whore. I think she ended up drugging her daughter, and tieing her up in her trunk so she could go slut in up, and she ended up dieing. I say burn her.

I used to work with Kiomarie Torres Cruz, the "friend" of Casey who tried to milk this whole thing for all it was worth back when the story was still somewhat hot. Sold her story to the Inquirer and everything. Now I think she works at Sea World. How was that rocket to fame there, sweetheart?
