Custom T-Shirt Websites

Has anyone had any good experiences with any Custom t-shirt websites, like Cafepress and such? I want to make a t-shirt as a present, but I'm worried about shirt/printing quality. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have a cafepress shop. As long as you follow the instructions about DPI and how you save your file.. I believe .PNG is still the preferred format.

Printing is really good. Don't expect to make money with a cafepress site though. Your comission is really low.

No, I'm just interested in making a single custom shirt as a gift.

I've been very happy with Spreadshirt. They have a great selection of colours, styles, and fabric types. Plus, I think they were cheaper than Cafe Press (at least, they were in my case). I created and bought my shirt a year ago and it's still in good condition. And they seem to cater pretty well to just doing a single, custom shirt.

i used cafepress, worked out beautifully - just too a while to arrive (like a few months) i had the exact same shirt made at a specialist shop downtown, cost about double what cafepress charged and wasn't anywhere near as good quality.
