I wanted to share this with the Chewer folks, because it's something I'm proudly a big part of, and it will hopefully be going places sooner rather than later...
The Hard Gravel is a multi-media series that follows Bobby Alexander and The Hard Gravel- a country and western music band in the mid-90s.
It began as a small documentary style short, along with a few music videos and has accumulated more blogs and videos since. Earlier this year we staged a week-long shoot of material in Savannah that left us with an enormous amount of footage (enough for a feature, easily) that is finally starting to take shape.
Aside from a small cameo in the very first video, I didn't become a direct part of Hard Gravel until the material shot this year, where I worked as a Producer and acted as a character (Steve - the band's manager).
There are two trailers for the new material which you can see here:
