Comics That Would Make Great Movies/TV Shows - Page 2

Holy crap, a Nemesis the Warlock adaptation, in any form, would be insane.

Speaking of Kevin O'Neill: Marshal Law.

That is all.

Oh god I agree completely. After the first volume I thought I was reading the coolest superhero comic ever. But man it got shitty quickly.

Pretty sure I heard someone interesting was trying to adapt Domu into an English language live action piece several years ago.

Marshall Law was once a pet project of Rob Bottin's. If the superhero movie craze keeps rolling for another 6 or 7 years there might be a window for a "Hero Hunter" movie.

My personal pick would be Mr X as it's such a great idea that the comics never really lived up to. Needs a complete re-working into a leaner and more iconic narrative.

Didn't realize those images from the CGI Goon movie was a test reel only. Bummer. Looked amazing. If they go ahead with a CGI treatment of BONE I hope they manage to get some of that atmosphere.

Moore isn't so down on TV. It's just Hollywood that he hates. He outlined the entirety of the remaining Big Numbers storyline for a television adaptation in the early 2000s.

A Miracleman tv show would be incredible. Thats still one of my favorite comics to this date.

I think 'Phonogram' could work pretty well as an anthology type show. Rotating directors and writers telling standalone stories with the basic idea of 'music is magic' at the centre. Think 'The Singles Club' but not necessarily all about the same night from different perspectives.

I would love to see a Phonogram show.

I think since they are doing a Silver Age, Bond inspired X-Men movie, we need a Nick Fury: Agent of Shield Silver Age, Steranko, Bond inspired movie. Young Fury globetrotting while putting down super villains and mad plots. Spy-Fi. Helicarriers and Hover Cars. Beautiful and dangerous ladies able to hold their own. This is the franchise Idris Elba should be doing.

Casey Moore, I agree...Idris Elba would be perfectly cast for...Ultimate Nick Fury. I still prefer...Jim Steranko's Nick Fury, and I would cast...Sean Bean, as the...Agent Of S.H.I.E.L.D.! At the very least, take the...Deskbound, babysitting, General Nick Fury of the...Ultimate Universe, and give him all the toys, jet packs, etc, that Steranko's Fury had.

Fury Vs...EEEEEEEEEEvil Baron Von Strucker, Head of...HYDRA! Fury vs...The Yellow Claw. Nick Fury vs...S.H.I.E.L.D. Don't Yield, Back S.H.I.E.L.D.!

Ed Brubaker's Criminal series. Call me crazy but I think Heroes for Hire could be really fun as a series.

Heroes for Hire would work very well in FX's current climate/theme of their shows.

This has probably missed its window for success, but I always thought it would be a no-brainer to adapt Brian K. Vaughn's Pride of Baghdad into an animated movie aimed at adults.

I would sacrifice a cute animal for a Sleeper or Criminal series. I would shoot Bambi in the face.
