With all the talk of Devin leaving it seems now is a good time to learn to appreciate what has been left behind; namely the greatness that is Alex Riviello.
Alex has continually brought the goods to the site, whether it's his reporting on unheard of genre projects or his general reporting of film news. In the last year, it's been his work that keeps me coming back time and time again. He's been a stabilizing presence on the boards with a keen insight in to under-reported films and film festivals.
I guess what I'm getting at is that while CHUD may miss Devin there's still some great writing happening and maybe it's time we look at who's left and learn to appreciate them while they are still here.
Feel free to use this thread as a way to let ALL the other writers know how much they are appreciated!
