Got this in the post today and so far im pretty impressed with it.

I had an old 7290 that I was playing about with but this baby is amazing. The 3g is faster than my wife's Iphone and the keybord and Touch pad are really easy to use.

Anyone else a Blackberry fan/Thinking of getting one?

Have RIM's touchscreen keyboards gotten any better? It takes three or four seconds for my shitty-ass Blackberry Storm II to register when I've flipped it, and the keyboard is awful.

Its way faster than my 7290 was. The keybord is pretty responsive my only issue with it at present is not being able to leave the alt button "on" when I have to type a series of numbers (for a password).

Wait. Touchpad isn't touchscreen. He's speaking of the trackpad that replaced the horrific trackball.

I bought my niece the Curve in May as payment for babysitting, and she likes it well enough. It started out fast and impressive, but in usual Blackberry fashion, she's starting to notice the lag, the freezing, multiple battery pulls per day, etc.

Yeah I thought that was what he meant, I should have clarified the touchpad also seems to work fine.
