The Dead Hate The Living

I can reduce that list down to one name: Dave Parker. I think the dead hate him for making this movie and are taking it out on all of humanity. This movie wasn't just bad, it was useless. It was a total waste of my 86 minutes. And for me to say that, it has to REALLY suck.

I actually like it quite a bit. It's nothing original, but it's a fun movie. Hell, I just watched it again the other night.

i too am quite fond of the film. good fun and much better than 98% of the movies Full Moon put out.

I agree with the last two posters. Fun bit of filmmaking, FAR better than most Full Moon, shoe-string budget fare, and actually showed real originality and an attempt to tell a good, neat story rather than just recycle the ol' Full Moon formula.

One of the few Full Moon films I actually liked(usually I kinda like their ideas, just not the actual film).

Out of all the Full Moon movies, this seems like an odd one to hate. They've done so much worse. I was surprised to have liked this one as much as I did, because I was expecting the usual boring crap.

Hmmm...then why did I even rent it, I wonder?

Here we go...I'm gonna get a wisecrack from someone about this thread.

Many people <a href="http://chud.com/board/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=3&t=002178&p=" target="_blank">love</a> this movie.

It's on my 'to watch' list. Ok, at the absolute bottom, but still there.

It's the theme song that seals the deal.

"The dead hate the living! Hate the living toniiiiiiiight!"

Mediocre. The first half of the movie stagnates, but when Bizarro Rob Zombie comes back from the dead things pick up.

I liked it, and I dont feel bad for owning the dvd, but only because it cost 5 bucks.

My favorite line:

"Tonight, the dead will rule forever."

Wow, they get to rule forever. For one night.

Hate this film, hate it, hate it, hate it. Almost as bad as tomaselli's 'horror'! Utter nonsense posing as fanboy adulation.Who needs it? Blecchhhh.

This movie really bothered me for some reason. It was very fanboyish - references to other horror movies and icons for the sake of referencing.

It was almost like the creators said "Hey, I'm a horror nut, look how many names I can drop. Then people will think I'm cool."

They really tried too hard. And you go two ways with something like this. You either dig it and like the references, or it turns you off and you get pissed and feel that you, not them are fans because you know about the movies that they are acting like experts on.

I was one of the people rolling my eyes and saying stuff like, "Oh they think they're so cool just because they have a Fulci Lives sticker on their car." Y' know, outlandish stuff like that.

...by the way, the fire really looked painfully fake...painfully.
