Road Games (1981)

This film was a great surprise! I thought it was older than 1981 from looking at Keach but I guess not. He has been around, that guy. Everything in this unkown film is good: acting, writing, casting, the villain, camera work. I was sober but would make a great stoner film. This movie was 100x better than Avatar... Why don't they make 'em like this anymore?

I was going to come in here and say something about the film as it has long been one of my favorites, a film I've mentioned on the boards several times and tried to turn people onto for years, but I must admit, I found this comment to be beyond strange for its randomness.

I just have a strong dislike for CGI and Avatar especially. I searched the forum titles for Road Games and got no matches - sorry to double up on your posts - I guess I need to search entire messages.

What in particular did you like about Road Games? Keach's talking to himself/ dog won me over quick, but I liked teh murderer emerging from that bathroom with all the super bright light making him look like God or something. Also the details of how Keach puts the pieces together was cool. For me it's all abouty the details and the realism... I guess that's why I hate CGI. CGI makes me feel emotionally uninvested in films that use it. I'd rather watch 8mm C films than $$100M budget CGI trash...
