Does anyone around here listen to Jonathan Goldstein's (who used to work with This American Life, I think) radio show, Wiretap? It's a CBC program, but I've heard it through NPR. I'm at a loss for how to exactly describe it, but at the moment I would kinda compare its format to that of Louie on FX. It's a mix of navel-gazing monologues, short stories, live performances, scripted conversations between Jonathan and his crazy friends (which tend to be my favorite parts of the show).
It's not something I crack up hard at, but I just love listening to it.
The show is also offered as a podcast. Its older episodes are available on this site:
