Every time I see an ad for that company, I can't help reading it as Fat Home Vents.

This is playing at the usual suspects near me, may have to check it out.

Lucky you.

So what about the press release hyping this as the scariest movie of all-time? It's definetely in my top 5 scariest.

I don't know if I'll react to it like I did when I was in my late teens, but it scared the piss out of me then.

I can't think of anything scarier. The Last House on the Left is the only movie I can think of that freaked me out more, but I was way too young and wide eyed to watch that movie. Looking back now it's lost a lot of its punch. The Exorcist remains creepy as holy hell.

Scariest (non-documentary) movie for me is a toss-up at any given time between Exorcist, Jaws, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Rosemary's Baby, Alien, and Poltergeist.

One amazing thing about Poltergeist is that it has a body count of zero (humans that is... clowns, birds and imaginary steaks don't fare so well). A common thread between Jaws, Exorcist, Rosemary and Poltergeist is that all deal with imperiled kids and parents that are powerless to protect them. Hmmm...

I moved to the country right when Lost Boys came out and was scared shitless to go outside at night (I was ten, gimme a break). Though I don't think that one holds up as quite so scary. Except maybe Feldman's Macho-Man Randy Savage impression.
