Ed Wood is great, I'm glad you were able to discover it. I love Bill Murray in that film, and it's the greatest Jon Lovitz impersonation Johnny Depp has ever done.

Roger Dodger is such an underrated little gem of a film.

Hudsucker Proxy and Man Who wasn't There


Barton Fink was excellent in some aspects. It only really got interesting after what happens when Barton wakes up to find .... has ........
Everything after that moment is pure awesome. Specially the Hotel on fire scenes and Goodman.

Before that, i thought the film struggled with finding an identity or a message. I didn't know what i was supposed to laugh at this guy or share his pain.

Oh, man! You've got two excellent films ahead of you. Both have been mis-categorized at times as being empty genre studies, but they're both great. Especially The Man Who Wasn't There. And I absolutely adore everything about The Hudsucker Proxy.

How'd you like Mohicans Tati? I think it's the Michael Mann film which most rewards a certain amount of forgiveness in terms of how earnest it is in its heroic epicness, but if you're not in the mood that heroic epicness could all just be too much. One of my favourite rousing soundtracks.

I just saw Hudsucker Proxy and Barton Fink a couple of months ago and I have to say I liked Barton Fink a lot more, I think because Robbins leaves me feeling adrift, while Turturro draws me ever inward.
