This is a Canadian film, more or less, about LARPing. Before you click away from this thread, LET ME TELL YOU.
It's really, really good. My girlfriend picked up the dvd case at CDplus on the weekend and said it might be worth a rental. I read the back and it sounded like some cheesy B-level "European history with fantastical elements thrown in" chaff but I said sure, what the hey... it's Canadian!
So we watched it and it's surprisingly but legitimately great. I wondered if anyone else had seen it and if not, wanted to plug it a bit because I don't suppose a lot of people know about it. And even if they do, the dvd case doesn't reveal that it's about LARPing, I had to find that out by checking imdb, and I suppose either way it's not going to be high on the list for people looking to gamble 90 minutes.
