What's the word on the new Superchunk album?

I'm digging the first single. "Digging for something"

But how's the rest of it? I'm also pretty excited to see them on Jimmy Fallon next week.

It is awesome. I'd call it a return to form, except Superchunk has always been great.

Been listening to this streaming online for about a week and it is excellent. I'm definitely picking it up when I get my paycheck on friday.

I've been listening to it for a week straight in preparation for their show...and I think it's one of the best of the year. It might even be my favorite Superchunk album. It's really fucking good.

Jeez, I haven't really listened to Superchunk in years but lately I've caught the bug. It's too bad the only one of their albums (On The Mouth) survived the great CD purge of the late '90s. And now it's been re-released with a new mastering job in conjunction with this new record. I guess I should check this out, eh?

I got the re-masters for On the Mouth and No Pocky for Kitty. In my opinion, they are essential remasters. The originals sound like junk in comparison.

Just listened to this. Wow this album kicks ass. I'm seeing them live at the music Box in a few weeks so I'm really excited.
